Roscongress Foundation and National Brand reach agreement on strategic partnership

The Roscongress Foundation is now a general partner of the national Made in Russia brand promotion project. Under a joint venture, the two organizations will produce a strategy for developing the project and promoting the brand at key public events, exhibitions, and conventions in Russia and abroad.

“Given the current situation and general trends on foreign markets, the role of exhibitions and conventions is continuing to grow. Creating a single Made in Russia brand and tools to automate, catalogue, and present separate companies, industries, and regions, along with the subsequent integration of final products into events supported by government and business, will have a positive effect on the development of Russia’s image and investment potential”, explains Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation.

Incorporating the Made in Russia brand into events organized by the Foundation will form a basis for brand promotion and collaboration involving government bodies, business, and the media, both at home and abroad.

“The Roscongress Foundation is the right partner – the best partner – for implementing collective initiatives that require seamless cooperation and the participation of both government and business. We believe that the Foundation’s experience and capabilities will be of huge assistance in creating a single information policy and promotional tools for Russian non-commodity exports and producers”, said National Brand Director Mikhail Sadchenkov.

Previously, the Made in Russia initiative was supported by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart). It aimed to catalogue Russian companies, provide media support, conduct collective marketing on domestic and foreign markets, and create a voluntary certification system under the same name.

The initiative is also supported by the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Business (SME Corporation) and the Russian Branding Companies Association.
