Dmitry Chernyshenko Calls on Regional Heads to Play Active Role in Preparations for Russian Investment Forum

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has called on heads of Russian regions and federal agencies to play an active role in preparations for the Russian Investment Forum, which will be held on 17–19 February 2022 in Sochi.

 

“Dmitry Chernyshenko has called on heads of Russian federal subjects to get involved in preparations for the Russian Investment Forum and organize presentations on the investment potential of the regions. Heads of federal agencies are also expected to participate actively in preparing Forum events,” the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Сhair of the Russian Investment Forum Organizing Committee reported.

 

The key theme of the Forum is ‘Achieving the National Goals as a Response to Global Challenges’.

 

The topic of the plenary session is ‘Russia 2030: Achieving the National Goals, Driving Breakthrough Socioeconomic Development’.

 

According to a representative of Dmitry Chernyshenko’s office, cultural and sports programmes are also being drawn up.

 

Dmitry Chernyshenko previously announced that discussions on issues related to socioeconomic, innovative, and scientific and technological development will take place over the three days of the Forum.
