Russian Export Centre Export School holds master classes on Young Enterprise Day

14 February 2018

At the Russian Investment Forum venue, master classes of the Russian Expert Centre Export School educational programme were held on Young Enterprise Day.

The Export School was founded in 2016 in response to demand from regional business and currently covers 41 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. According to the Export School’s Director of Marketing Artur Lyashchenko, its purpose is to provide Russian companies with comprehensive information and consulting support and thus eliminate one of the main obstacles for domestic producers entering foreign markets. The programme is designed for small and medium-sized businesses and is being implemented in both a full-time and remote format.

What support from the government can export-orientated enterprises count on? How can logistics costs be estimated? How to engage in online exports – through the marketplace or one’s own online store? During the master classes, Regional Trainer of the REC Export School, Lecturer at the Department of Global Economics and International Business, Rostov State University of Economics Oksana Voronkova (Ph.D., Economics) answered these and other questions on which companies’ decisions to enter foreign markets and the efficiency of foreign trade operations directly depend.
