The programme includes the Sochi Corporate Games, the Formula One Track Run, a gala hockey match, the Roscongress Foundation Cup for downhill skiing and tennis, and the gala concert of the Yuri Bashmet 10th Winter International Arts Festival.

“This year, the cultural and sporting programme at the Sochi Forum has placed a special emphasis on sporting events. The dates of the Forum were moved from September to February, and this allowed us to fully utilize the sporting infrastructure built in Sochi following the Olympic Games for the organization of leisure activities,” said CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev.

The Sochi Corporate Games will take place for the second time as part of the Forum. On February 25 from 09:00 to 18:00 at the Alexander Karelin Sports Complex, representatives of companies and government agencies will go head-to-head in challenges of agility, strength, and intellect in a series of competitions that have become a part of the annual events calendar of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.

On the morning of February 26, famous politicians, business leaders, and fitness lovers will track part in a run along the city’s Formula One track. Distances of 5,555 m (one lap), 11,111 m (two laps), and 22,222 m (four laps) will be on offer for runners. The route will follow the Formula One Russian Grand Prix track, which boasts incredible views of the Olympic venues. In the afternoon on February 26, a downhill skiing tournament will take place for Forum participants.

The closing gala concert of the 10th Yuri Bashmet Winter International Arts Festival will take place at 19:00 on February 26 at the Winter Theatre Concert Hall. The programme will include performances from Denis Matsuev, Vadim Repin, Avi Avital, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia, conducted by its artistic director and principal conductor Yuri Bashmet. The concert is a ticketed event. Russian Investment Forum guests and participants may purchase tickets through via the personal web office on the Forum website.

On February 27 the Roscongress Foundation Tennis Cup will take place. Competitors will have the opportunity not only to demonstrate their mastery of the racket, but also to forge valuable business contacts and engage in constructive dialogue in informal surroundings. On the evening of February 28 a gala hockey match will be held as part of the Roscongress Foundation Cup for politicians and members of the business elite.

Forum guests and participants will also have the chance to visit the Sochi Park amusement park. It is the first Russian amusement park to be rated amongst the top 20 in Europe. The park features 20 modern attractions, from rides for thrill-seekers to those suitable for families and children. All rides are available for unlimited use by guests.

The 16th Investment Forum will be held on February 27–28, 2017. The operator of the Forum is the Roscongress Foundation.
