Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution on creating the Navoloki Advanced Social and Economic Development Zone in the Ivanovo Region.

Establishment of the advanced special economic zone will help diversify the local economy, reducing its dependence on the backbone enterprise – Privolzhskaya Kommuna textile mill, and boosting the city’s appeal, while also creating 1,300 jobs and raising over RUB 2 bn in investment.
