RDIF to showcase priority investment projects in the US

29 January 2017

The Russian Direct Investment Fund will shortly present more than ten priority projects for bilateral investment cooperation for discussion with the United States, RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said.

The presidents of Russia and the US had their first telephone conversation last Saturday to discuss a whole number of matters, including trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev had earlier told RIA Novosti in an interview that, as part of the World Economic Forum in Davos, his Fund had a number of meetings with US companies, including strategic investors and investment funds, which gave generally positive feedback on Russia.

In addition, the RDIF is planning to organise visits by a number of US investors to Russia this spring.

“The RDIF has drafted and will shortly present more than ten priority projects for potential bilateral investment cooperation in Russia and the United States for preliminary discussions with American partners”, Kirill Dmitriev said.
