Representatives of U.S. and Russian business to enjoy additional opportunities for participating in events organized by Roscongress and the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce

On 15 February 2018, the Roscongress Foundation and the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. The signing ceremony was attended by Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev and Executive Director at U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce Tamara Doescher.

The document envisages collaboration in establishing effective communications between expert, business and political communities of the Russian Federation and the United States of America.

Specifically, the parties agreed to organize joint congress and exhibition events in the business and social dimensions: forums, conferences and roundtables, business meetings, fairs and presentations; to provide mutual advisory and expert support; and to implement media cooperation.

According to Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev, the agreement opens up broad prospects for representatives of Russian and U.S. companies to participate in events arranged by the Roscongress Foundation in Russia and by the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce in the United States.

“We are grateful to the Roscongress Foundation for giving us this opportunity to participate in the Russian Investment Forum. We are happy to start promoting business relations between our organizations and expect that the signing of the cooperation agreement will result in long-term and rewarding collaboration in elaborating new and fostering existing events, trade missions and programmes for building up U.S.-Russia business relations and increasing investment and bilateral trade between our countries,” said Executive Director at the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce Tamara Doescher.
