Novosibirsk Medical Technopark, which opened in 2016, completely filled up the capacity of its first stage by allocating nine production facilities for residents, Medical Technopark General Director Yekaterina Mamonova announced on Tuesday in the government building of the Novosibirsk Region at a meeting of a working group attended by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

Nine residents joined the Medical Technopark at the first stage. Residents have increased revenue by 50% over two years. A total of RUB 271 million has been invested. The technopark’s products are delivered to 150 clinics of the Russian Federation.

Residents of the Medical Technopark include: companies that manufacture prosthetic joint implants, external exoprostheses, biodegradable structures for traumatology and orthopaedics, and hardware rehabilitation systems. The cost of these products is 25–30% lower than that of imported analogues on average. This will help to cover 30% of Russia’s demand for various medical products on average.
