Minister made announcement at Russian Investment Forum.

In the coming weeks, Moscow and Tehran will settle the issue of oil deliveries from Iran as part of the ‘oil-for-goods’ programme, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak told journalists at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.

“In the coming weeks, we will seek to achieve an accelerated resolution, everything depends on the agreement process”, said Novak in response to a question about when an additional agreement on the oil-for-goods deal would be signed, Prime reports.

The Minister underlined that the issue was being addressed and conditions for deliveries were being discussed.

“The government has authorized Promsyryeimport to act in this area”, Novak said.
