Investment in the Pharmoslavl active pharmaceutical substances plant, which will open in the Yaroslavl Region before the end of 2017, will amount to RUB 5.3 billion, Acting Yaroslavl Region Governor Dmitry Mironov said.

“The Pharmoslavl active pharmaceutical substances plant will be launched by the end of this year. The enterprise focuses on the production of more than 50 import-substituting active pharmaceutical substances that serve as the basis for innovative and highly effective medicines .Total investment in the project is around RUB 5.3 billion and more than 200 jobs will be created”, he said.

Mironov said the project will reduce dependence on imports and Russian pharmaceutical companies will be able to receive high-quality medicines at a much lower price.
