“Over the past years, total investment from the province in the Russian Far East amounted to USD 9.8 billion. This is not a huge amount, but it has huge potential”, Heilongjiang Province Governor Lu Hao said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Lu Hao noted that Heilongjiang Province intends to further develop cooperation with the Far East in the financial sector, infrastructure, tourism, and other areas. The governor said the most competitive area of production is the advanced processing of agricultural products.
