1 June 2017

“Since the start of the year, we have received more than 460 applications specifically for participation in Made in Russia and 30 companies are already launching production with the Made in Russia brand. For example, the Moscow Jewellery Factory is using the logo and moreover has opened a representative office in Kazakhstan with our support”, Made in Russia Project Manager Mikhail Sadchenkov said while speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade previously proposed granting the REC a subsidy of RUB 370 million in 2017 to create and promote the Russian export brand Made in Russia to foreign markets.

The creation of the Made in Russia export brand will enhance the awareness of Russian products, increase opportunities for its promotion on international markets, and generate loyalty among the foreign consumer audience for the Russian product, the ministry said.
