The state will support select businesses in the implementation of investment projects in the Far East.

The Head of the Russian Government notes that currently more than 30 major investment projects are being implemented in the Far East: gas and petrochemical facilities, major shipbuilding yards, gold fields and coal deposits, livestock farms and transhipment hubs.

In addition to large projects, one should not forget about small companies in trade and service businesses, and the task of the governor of the region and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East is to provide the necessary support to small and medium-sized businesses in the Far East and the Baikal Territory, noted Dmitry Medvedev.
