President and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia Alexis Rodzianko and Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev signed an agreement on cooperation between the two organizations at the Russian Investment Forum on 14 February. The document extends a similar three-year agreement that expires in 2019.

The main goal of the document is to continue cooperation in establishing effective communication between expert communities and business circles of the Russian Federation and the United States.

“The agreement is an important step to strengthen business ties between Russian and American business and will contribute to productive work and the exchange of experience with our foreign partners. In addition, representatives of U.S. and Russian companies will receive additional opportunities to take part in the activities of the Roscongress Foundation in Russia and the U.S.-Russian Chamber of Commerce in the United States”, Stuglev said. 

For his part, Rodzianko noted the need to continue a dialogue despite the current realities in relations between the two countries. “Our business association has been cooperating with the Roscongress Foundation for a while. I am sure that the development of our partnership with the Foundation will help create a more favourable investment climate and will provide the companies that are members of our Chamber with more opportunities for their successful activities in Russia ”, he said.
