‘A dialogue across time and space’ – these are perhaps the best words to describe the programme for the 12th Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi’s opening concert, which combines the bright serenity of Viennese Classicism with the vivid dramatic expression of Romanticism and a mosaic of music from the present day.
Soloists:
José Vicente Castelló (French horn, Spain), Lore Binon (soprano, Belgium), Daijin Kim (piano, Republic of Korea), Yuri Bashmet (viola), Mihaela Martin (violin, Germany), Frank Campos (trumpet, USA).

The programme will include pieces by Haydn, Mozart, Weber, Hummel, Wieniawski, Valery Voronov, Patrick De Clerck, and Zhiyi Wang.
