Road

Sochi is located 1,620 kilometres from Moscow and 2,340 kilometres from St. Petersburg. Factoring in traffic, the travel time from Moscow is 20–24 hours. The route follows the M4 Don Highway and the A147 Dzhugba–Tuapse–Sochi Highway.

The 1,544-kilometre M4 Don Highway connects Moscow with the largest resort cities in Krasnodar Territory. It passes through Yelets, Lipetsk, Voronezh, and Novocherkassk. Given that the Russian Investment Forum is taking place during the tourist season and at the same time as the 3rd CISM World Winter Games, traffic congestion is a possibility. Please plan your itinerary in advance.

The A147 Highway branches off from the M4 Don Highway four kilometres from Dzhugba and passes through Dzhugba, Tuapse, and Sochi, terminating at the border with the Republic of Abkhazia where it joins the M1 Highway, which passes through Sukhumi and runs to the border with Georgia. The road is part of the European E97 route. Please note that this road climbs up into the mountains and has sections that are difficult to pass through.

Sea

Sochi Commercial Seaport is a specialized passenger port focused on regular sea-based passenger transportation and cruise tourism along the Black Sea coast.

The seaport is 35 kilometres from the Olympic Park Main Media Centre.
